Geographic location

One of the four nations in the United Kingdom, England is bordered by Scotland to the North and Wales to the west, the Irish Sea to the northwest, and the Celtic Sea to the southwest, the North Sea to the East, and the English Channel to the south. Just across the English Channel is France. The majority of England is on the island of great Britain in the North Atlantic. The country also includes about a hundred smaller islands surrounding Great Britain.
